Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Chords Grid Crafter add-on (the “Add-On”).

About the Add-On

Chords Grid Crafter is a free Google Docs add-on that lets you create and insert chord grid notation images directly into a Google Docs document. The Add-On operates entirely within the document you have open; it does not transmit any document content or personal data to the developer. It is a personal hobby project maintained by an individual developer at no charge and generates no income.

Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Add-On you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Add-On and do not use it.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Add-On is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the Add-On will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with any particular version of Google Docs or Google Workspace.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or documents, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Add-On, even if the developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Add-On is provided free of charge, the developer’s total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed zero euros (€0).

EEA / Consumer Rights Notice

If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area, nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable mandatory consumer-protection law that cannot be excluded or limited by contract.

Third-Party Services

The Add-On runs inside Google Docs and is subject to Google’s own terms and policies. Your use of Google Docs is governed by Google’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy. The developer has no control over and accepts no responsibility for Google’s services.

Changes to These Terms

The developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, reasonable notice will be given — and at least 30 days’ notice when reasonably practicable — by updating this page and revising the “Last updated” date above. By continuing to use the Add-On after revised Terms take effect, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, please uninstall the Add-On.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
